He is here to discuss his latest book, “Earthing: The Most Important Health Discovery Ever?”
There’s a growing buzz in the health world these days about a phenomenon called Earthing. It has to do with natural energy flowing throughout the surface of the Earth that fascinating new research is associating with significant health benefits.
Most importantly, people everywhere can easily connect to this overlooked healing and nurturing resource.
The never-before-told story of the planet’s healing energy trove is contained in a 2010 book – entitled Earthing – and chronicles a discovery of the first magnitude.
The story is this:
Throughout evolution humans walked barefoot and slept on the ground, largely oblivious to the fact that the surface of the Earth is a natural source of electrons and subtle electrical fields essential for proper functioning of our immune system, circulation, synchronization of biorhythms, and other physiological processes.
Modern lifestyle, including the widespread use of insulating rubber- or plastic- soled shoes, has disconnected us from this energy and, of course, we no longer sleep on the ground as we did in times past. The Earthing book hypothesizes how this physical disconnect from the Earth may be creating abnormal physiology and contributing to inflammation, pain, fatigue, stress, and poor sleep, and how by reconnecting to the Earth symptoms are rapidly relieved and even eliminated. People sleep better. They are more energized. Recovery from surgery, injury, and extreme athletic performance is accelerated.
Tune in this Wednesday and find out about “Earthing.”
